How to prepare BAMBOO SHOOT Bamboo shoot is one of the favourite dishes in the states of North-East especially Arunachal Pradesh. There are varities method of preparing Bamboo Shoot , here one method suggest an Idea for 'how to prepare Bamboo Shoot'. Important Words: > English- Bamboo Shoot >Paite - Gotuai Hou > Hindi - Bamboo Tenga >Galo - Iku Method of preparing Bamboo Shoot: 1. Get tender Bamboo from either forest or home garden. 2. Peel/remove the unwanted part that covered tender Bamboo. 3. Cut into small pieces or medium size. 4. Pick-up a steel grass and cöntinuosly strike the bamboo in reverse size of the grass till it balanced in size equally. 5. Put that Bamboo which you grind in containers out of Air untill its turned into Sour.(Minimum one weeks or more). 6. Take out that Bamboo and expose under the Sun(not fire otherwise the colour would not be suitable) untill its dry. 7. Put back your dry Bamboo in dry containers. Now you have a new Bamboo Shoot to keep even a year long and prepare it whenever you like. (This method is collobrated and suggested by Khankhup Sektak which he wish to introduce new way method on how to prepare Bamboo Shoot ['Gotuai Hou'].
